Variety Show
Term 3's Variety Show was a red-hot blast of entertainment to cut through the wintry conditions outdoors. From guitar histrionics to soaring vocals, cultural performances, dance and everything in between. A great night had by all. Photos here.
Outdoor Education Trip
This year, 45 Year 11 PE students went on a local Outdoor Education trip. They completed a hīkoi up Rangituhi (Colonial Knob) in Porirua and spent the afternoon challenging themselves through a high-ropes course at Adrenalin Forest. This was an awesome day where many students conquered their fears and demonstrated our school values throughout. Ka pai team.
Tedx Youth Paparangi
Pulling off an amazing feat of organisation, leadership and initiative a dedicated band of students put together a fantastic night of thought provoking talks and entertainment with the second Tedx Youth Paparangi event.
Volleyball Trip
In preparation for their Volleyball season, our Senior A girls side went on a Lower North Island pre-season trip. They played games against Awatapu College, William Colenso College and Karamu High School. The girls represented our kura with pride and they absolutely loved the experience of travelling together and bonding as a team.

The Theatrefest One Act play festival had 4 entries, these groups were keen and motivated amongst all the other school activities.
Two of the groups were self directed and two were directed or guided by Ms Matheson and Whaea Stephanie.

The end of Term 2 was a weekend and 24hrs to create a play using 5 lines from different sources and three random props. We had two teams enter and they thoroughly enjoyed the random experience and the resulting performances from them and the other teams which were truly fun to watch. There were some truly magic moments - one of the students even waltzed with a recycling bin.
Junior Disco
Junior dance afficianados blazed some smokin' moves at this year Junior Disco. Despite an overzealous smoke machine operator, a fabulous night was had by all.
